Rift Valley University (RVU) has organized two days (Feb.21-22, 2019) Quality Assurance training at its Head Office that is located around Gotera. The participants are: Vice Dean and Quality Assurance Heads that came from different campuses, and Head Office staff members.
The training is offered by five experts from Higher Education Relevance and Quality Agency (HERQA), Quality Audit and Enhancement Department.
The overall training titles focused on ‘Quality Assurance Concepts and Elements; Quality Management System; Guidelines for Institutional/Program Quality Audit; Self-Evaluation, etc’ It was commenced by the opening speech Made by Professor Derebsa Dufera , RVU President. Professor discussed why RVU took the initiative and informed participates to actively take part in the training, and replicate the best practices in their respective campus.
Dr. Dinkuana Nigussa, Quality Assurance and Enhancement Director made keynote speech. The director underlined the importance of quality education for higher learning in particular and for the nation in general. He urged all stakeholders to work hard towards attaining quality education.
RVU has organized such training to capacitate the staff members with adequate training so as to meet the expectations of the government and other stakeholders. The pictures depicted below are taken while the training is in progress .
