Rift Valley University Gullele Campus has organized one day training for representatives drawn from Gullele sub-city Public Service, Gullele and Arada Police Stations. The campus considers such training as part of its corporate social responsibility. Dr. Senbeto Busha, Campus Dean made the opening remarks and officially opened the training session.
The trainings topic were “Customer Handling and Kaizen Philosophy; Team Work; and Leadership”. The participants raised the practical challenges they have faced on duties and enriched the presentations through discussion. 68 trainees that were drawn from different Gullele Sub-City Public Service Offices, and 15 trainees from were from Gullle and Arada Police.
Totally 83 public service providers benefited from the training.
By initiating such courageous community service activates, the campus has set an exemplary role that could be emulate by other campuses. Finally, Certificate of attendance was given to the participants. These pictures were taken while the training was underway.
