Rift Valley University has organized five days training for the accountants working in its Addis Ababa and surroundings campuses. The training mainly focuses on the international financial reporting standard (IFRS) with substituted the formerly in use GAP in undertaking financial reporting system of the University. The finance manager of the university Mr. Alemayehu Kuma asserts that such a training is designed by the university to capacitate the Accounting and Finance staff of the university. The further exclaimed that RVU is striving hard to upgrade its staff’s professional capacity on continuous bases so that they can unleash their service at their at most best level towards customer satisfaction.
The trainees, on their part, stressed the vitality of the training in the boosting their service quality and appreciated the office for looking in to their observed gap and worked on equipping them in the timely practical skill gap training regarding their service.
